Great Black-backed Gull  8  -

Totals: 63 individuals, 4 species, 1:15 hours

Bold = Remarkable observation (scarce or rare species or large number)
Comments: Not much variety but evidence of a small influx of Scandinavian Herring Gulls amongst a westerly trickle of Herring and GBB Gulls. Five adult birds identified. This was backed up by other argentatus noted later nearby at Levenmouth (four birds) and Kilconquhar Loch (one bird). Also a flock of 28 Pinkies moving SW over the Forth at a time of day that would seem to indicate real passage as opposed to roost/feeding movement from Aberlady Bay.
