Comments: Annual visit to look for Woodpigeon movement; very little sign, though a flock of 78 appeared from S c. 8:10hrs, rounded hill and proceeded NE, later scanning SW picked up small groups 10-20 totalling 70 moving NW; maybe did not stay long enough based on Lintrathen count, but it was never going to be a big total! [NE/NW is the "normal" direction here, from hills to lowlands, on 7 previous visits only a very late one 29/11/12 had more moving SW than N] Also 60+ Herring Gull commuting round the hill edge proceeding SW, as usual, and hunting birds were 4 Raven, 2 Kestrel, 2 Buzzard, Sparrowhawk and a Peregrine.
