Comments: Viewed from visitor centre looking west. Slow start due to light drizzle but Mipits soon started to move in big numbers (1200 by 08.15), with Skylarks moving a little later generally hugging south side of headland (potentially many missed?) with some heading over me ENE. From 10.00 wind started to drop and change direction, many birds arriving u-turned. Wind was westerly by 10.30 with few birds moving.
